How to use Ras el Hanout
This aromatic spice blend is perfect for seasoning lamb, chicken, or roasted vegetables. Add it to couscous, grain bowls, or slow-cooked stews for a rich, layered flavor. Mix it into marinades with olive oil, lemon, and garlic, or stir it into yogurt for a fragrant dip. It also works beautifully in lentil soups, rice dishes, and even hummus for a unique twist.
Easy Couscous Recipe
Pour 250 ml (1 cup) of boiling water over 250 g (1 ½ cups) of couscous, add 1 tsp salt, and cover the bowl. Let it sit for 10 minutes until the liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork, drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil, and mix in 1 ½ tsp Ras el Hanout along with almonds, raisins, or other dried fruits. Finish with freshly chopped mint, cilantro, or parsley, and serve as a flavorful side dish.
